Lund Board Game Day – A day filled with gaming joy!
Board games are a hobby that is growing stronger and stronger, and now you have the chance to experience it up close!
On June 14, 2025, between 10 am and 18 pm, the very first Lund Board Game Day will be held in the City Hall. This is an event for everyone, whether you are an experienced player or a beginner.
During the day you will be able to play a variety of board games, from classics to modern favorites. For families there are easier games like Ticket to Ride, Dixit and Azul. For those who want a little more of a challenge there are games like Calico and Harmonies. And for the really hardcore players there are strategic deep dives like Dune Imperium. Experienced guides are on hand to help you get started and explain the rules. For the youngest visitors there is a special Kids & Family section with games adapted for children.
One of the highlights of the day is that Tåg till Rydsgård will be showing off their bauta boards. Here you will have the chance to play Ticket to Ride in a way you have never experienced before – on a gigantic scale!
Lunds Brädspelsdag is organized by the Lunds Spelfestival association, which is also behind other popular events such as Lund 1920 and Spelkväll på Grand. Admission is free, so bring your friends and family and experience a day filled with excitement, strategy and community!

Lund Board Game Day 2025 will take place at the City Hall in central Lund on Saturday, June 14. We will be open between 6:10 AM and 00:18 PM.
