1948 is the year when the students that Anna Munck Falk gathered in a women's choir merged with tenors and basses and Lund's academic choir was formed. That this year is 75 years ago, Odeum wants to celebrate with pomp and circumstance and offers a concert with a tribute to the music itself!
We are particularly pleased to be able to welcome our old LAK member and now celebrated opera star Emma Sventelius as a guest soloist. Together with Lund's academic choir, she will perform some of the choir's favorite songs, including by composers such as Sven-Eric Johansson, Eriks Ešenvalds, Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn, Benjamin Britten and Edward Elgar.
