Lund Choral Festival welcomes international choral giants!
British Tenebrae have a CV to impress. They have, among other things, sung on some of the world's most reputable stages and festivals, been nominated for a Grammy and participated in the soundtrack to the blockbuster film Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). In 2018, we last got to enjoy their singing at the choir festival, now the choir is coming back to Lund for a dear and long-awaited reunion!
Tenebrae has been operating for more than 20 years. Led by Nigel Short, they have made an international name for themselves with their interpretations of vocal music from the Renaissance to the present day and collaborations with the UK's leading orchestras. At the Lund Choral Festival, the choir goes back to its roots in Joby Talbots Path of Miracles (2005). With new fresh eyes and ideas, Tenebrae return to the music that in many ways defined their career. In the work's four movements, we get to follow along on a musical pilgrimage.
