Lunch service during Friday's live concert!

We at Poké Poké are looking forward to being a part of Strong Streets on Friday and serving fresh bowls with an exciting twist! We will be there during Friday's live concert and serving lunch 12.00-13.00 or until we run out, so come on time.

We serve:

  • Persia Bowl

Inspired by Persian cuisine, with slow-cooked beef, herbs, lime and kidney beans, here in a brand new bowl format with rice and fresh side dishes. Also available as a vegetarian version where the stew is completely meatless but retains its rich flavor.

  • Golden Bowl

Saffron marinated chicken, grilled to perfection and served in our poké style with fresh vegetables and creamy toppings. A dish that conveys Persian influences but in a modern, fresh presentation.

We look forward to giving visitors a taste experience that combines our poké concept with exciting flavors and hope for a great collaboration!

Lunch music – Marimba Summit

Antti Ohenoja Bo Håkansson

The marimba, a development from the xylophone, is related to the vibraphone through its resonant tubes. The marimba has a deep sound but with many different shades and it constantly provides something new and interesting for the ear. Two marimbas are often used for the rich possibility of combining rhythm with melodies and harmony. Something that characterizes JS Bach's music for piano and in this program you will hear a congenial interpretation of his Goldberg Variations. Of course, there will also be music written directly for the instruments in the form of Steve Reich's Marimba Phase.

Antti Ohenoja & Bo Håkanson have played together since 2006, when they met in Toronto during their studies. Since then, they have worked together on projects with great success. Usually it happens during limited periods when Antti is normally active in the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur. But this fall he is substituting for the Malmö Symphony Orchestra where Bo Håkansson has been a percussionist since 1991. But both often play outside the orchestra, Antti for example both tablas and ragtime xylophone, while Bo likes to play chamber music, jazz, and pop music.

Free admission and drop-in. The concert is outdoors/under a tent in case of rain.
