What is it like to be a retailer in Lund city centre? What makes Lund a fantastic place to operate, and what are the challenges?
Sven Petter Hovelius has been running Lexis Papper for almost 30 years and has also been deeply involved in the Lund Trade Association for a long time. Sven Petter offers an insight into his business and explains why he thinks Lund is at least Sweden's best trading place. It is also one of Sweden's oldest trading places and the area between the Cathedral and the Grand Hotel has a long tradition of trade and craftsmanship.
Sven Petter concludes by showing the film “Saint Jacob and the Pharmacist”, a unique document from the early 1970s. The film is about 20 minutes long and portrays with great warmth people and their activities in these two neighborhoods in the heart of Lund.
This event is part of Lund City Strong Streets, an arrangement where we jointly lift the streets around Lilla Fiskaregatan for a week. and Klostergatan.
