Our playful time travel is a family performance, where the audience is taken to several different outdoor play areas in the museum park.
Join us on a playful time journey to three different eras where the common thread is the Battle of Lund!
In 1676, while the Battle of Lund terrifies the townspeople, a treasure is hidden somewhere in the city. Two hundred years later, in the 1880s, a mysterious piece of jewelry is discovered in an old dresser drawer while an artist is working on a proposal for a grand monument to the battle. One summer day in 1976, it is finally lunchtime for the museum staff at Kulturen, but this is no ordinary day at work! A sensational archaeological find has been made, triggering strong emotions and heated discussions about war, wigs and biodynamic lunch boxes.
Cultural educators offer visitors a light-hearted and playful way to experience history brought to life in the museum park. Playful time travel is a family performance, suitable for children from the age of 7. The audience is taken to several different outdoor play areas in the museum park.
The performance is part of the Year of Remembrance for the Battle of Lund.
