Theater classics in rap and multi-layered interpretation on tour with Grynet Molvig and Krister Henriksson.
Riksteatern proudly presents Nobel laureate Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece Long Day's Journey to Night, with Grynet Molvig and Krister Henriksson in the lead roles. Together with the director Eva Dahlman, they highlight both the humor and the pain in this timeless story.
We get to follow the Tyrone family during a summer day that turns into night. The family is held together by jokes, painkillers, grandiose dreams, card games and deep love.
Long day's journey towards night became the starting point for modern psychological realism. The play premiered at Dramaten in 1956 with Inga Tidblad and Jarl Kulle in the lead roles and has since been performed on stages around the world.
