The entire museum is open until 20 pm on Thursdays!
Bring friends or family or enjoy a stroll around on your own, see an exhibition or attend a program event. Maybe you want to eat something good at Kulturens restaurant afterwards, or just have something to drink. The restaurant is open in the evening on Thursdays.
Open air museum, park and exhibitions
The open-air museum at Kulturen in Lund is filled with culturally historic houses and outdoor environments that you can visit. Here you can get an idea of how people have lived in southern Sweden during different times and in different social environments, both in the countryside and in cities. Some of the buildings are in their original location, while others have been moved here since the museum opened in 1892. Of course, all our exhibitions are also open in the evenings!
Culture's Christmas tracks
From November 28 to January 14, you can follow Kulturens Christmas Trail and see how Christmas was celebrated in the past in some of our culturally historic houses.
Picnic, rest and play in the park
In the museum park there is room for rest, picnics and play. There are benches here and there where you can sit down, weather permitting. The children can play loose in our new playground, which consists of a town area with a town hall, church, shop, forge, stables and square, and a countryside area with a water mill with pedal wheels and animals sculpted in wood.
