Welcome to viewing!
Kulturen opened in 1892 and was then one of the world's first open-air museums. The founder's name was Georg Karlin. His vision was a stay and playful museum where, among other things, you could see objects in their proper context. Houses from different times and social environments were gathered in the park – from the Middle Ages to the 1930s. Step inside the houses and experience life in both the city and the countryside.
Our guide Emma Larsson shows around and tells about some of the houses.
Included in the entrance fee, no advance booking. Gathering at the back of the White House (entrance hall), where there is a sign indicating the gathering place.
