A grand and witty drama about culture clashes, family ties and identity!
In a lively hairdressing salon, located in a trendy area, we meet Moo - a hairdresser with roots in Syria who grew up in Sweden. When his cousin Safa flees the Syrian war and seeks refuge with Moo, his everyday life is suddenly turned upside down. Together they navigate an emotional journey there
culture clashes, quarrels, values and childhood memories are brought to life in an apartment that is far too cramped, where two lives and heavy luggage have to fit. Moo and Safa face difficult choices between family ties and personal values. Their meeting is not only a reflection of the Arab diaspora but also many family constellations in today's Sweden. The meeting invites us to reflect.
The performance is performed primarily in English with Swedish and Arabic subtitles.
