Our Autumn Holiday Workshop is part of the Best Festival – Sweden's largest art festival, where children and young people create directly with artists and educators.

Can you remember through different materials?
Visiting artist coincides with the Best Festival this year and Lund Art Gallery has invited the Malmö-based artist Sarah Nakiito for a series of unique workshops where children and young people are introduced to her practice where she explores historical textile traditions, dyeing and printing techniques that span cultures and group identities.
We use textiles and other tactile materials to create and discuss how different materials can evoke different emotions and memories.
In addition, Nakiito has created a new installation in the art gallery's project room that can be seen until the turn of the year 2025/2026.
