Lunds konsthall invites local artists to hold workshops for children and young people based on their own artistry. In addition, a temporary installation by a current artist is also displayed in the art gallery's project room.
Carolina Sandvik (1988 Avesta) is a Malmö-based artist and filmmaker who primarily works with a special animation technique called stop-motion. She received her master's degree in fine arts from Malmö Academy of Fine Arts, after studies in sculpture and film studies, among other things. Her short films are a mixture of animation with elements from reality and we get to follow along on a journey between dream and reality. Sandvik's films often contain direct references from film history, and especially from the horror film genre. In recent years, she has been noted for her animated short films that have been shown at film festivals around the world.
