Boken Movie scenery tells about around 50 films shot in Scania - from South of the highway 1939 until Dusseldorf, Scania 2024 – and their filming locations, as well as a handful of TV series. Freelance journalist Caroline Alesmark has dug into archives, read reports from the filming, plowed through biographies and memoirs and interviewed film workers. Quotes from past interviews are mixed with facts and curiosities. The image material consists for the most part of the press photos from Swedish newspapers, taken during the recordings, which are available at Bilder i Syd in Landskrona. Photographer Peter Carlsson has taken contemporary pictures. The book is published by Augusti publishing house in Lund and designed by Petter Lönegård. Caroline Alesmark has previously published, among other things Enigmatic Scania, Skåne's coast and Hike the Skåneleden.
