16–19 p.m. Creator's workshop with the publisher Opal

In the Garden Room, right next to the museum shop, we are hosted by the publisher Opal. Their new book The Time Machine is a unique illustrator collaboration between twelve of Sweden's best illustrators, and is a magnificent mystery book like no other. Each illustrator has freely interpreted a historical place with a little extra focus on art, culture and creation.

In the book publisher Opal's creative workshop, children can draw together with the illustrator Jens Ahlbom, who is one of the contributing illustrators in the book.

You can also cut out and build a model of the book's time machine. The model was made by the children's book author and illustrator Sven Nordqvist.

Paintings with illustrations from the book are also displayed here, and the publisher's staff is on hand to tell you more about the various images.
