August 29, 17.00:XNUMX PM, Monastery Church. Free admission.
At 16.30:XNUMX p.m. the doors open and mingle is served.
We would like to inform you that Klosterklang to our great happiness has become so popular that people start queuing well before the doors open. We therefore urge everyone to be responsible for wearing appropriate clothing for the weather in order to be able to queue outside until 16.30:XNUMX p.m. when the doors open. We would like to remind you that you cannot reserve a seat for a relative, but everyone who wants to go must be physically present.

About the program
Ulf Holmström, who has just released a new album, highlights gems from the life of everyone's "Dompan", saxophonist Arne Domnérus, while also offering us works from his latest album Blues for J. Before the first Klosterklang of the autumn is over, Ulf will have shared his personal relationship with the saxophonist who became a jazz legend. A rich musical program awaits, where the signature melody Midnight Sun will of course be performed, but also notes from Ellington and Ulf Holmström's own compositions.
