About the program
Fini Bradbery and his musicians interpret both well-known and lesser-known songs from the American songbook. The musicians' great love for the tradition and history of jazz shines through clearly when they play, while the music is neither solemn nor backward. The musicians insist on a serious expression, free from clichés and with a personal interpretation of the otherwise well-known songs. This evening is dedicated to one of the greatest voices in vocal jazz, Nat King Cole.
Artist Biography:
Fini Broadbery, is a singer and pianist and is one of the brightest stars on the Danish jazz scene. His soft and pure vocals with his sometimes raw and uncompromising piano style make the music come alive with a playful ease.
About the concert series:
The Klosterklang concert series is organized by the Sankt Peters Kloster parish in collaboration with Sensus. The Klosterklang concert series started in January 2024. One Friday a month, you are invited to a concert to end the work week and start the weekend with a moment of sonorous music under the inviting vaults of the Klosterkyrkan.
In the Spring program we also have a special monastery sound Saturday.
