Clothes swapping is now almost a popular movement: Last spring, 14,000 people across the country took part in swapping clothes, and 65,000 garments found new owners – a huge saving in water, chemicals and climate emissions compared to the same amount of newly manufactured clothing.
The spring clothing swap organized by Lund's Society for Nature Conservation and the City Library will take place on April 18th. From 11-12:30 on Saturday, you can drop off a maximum of 5 complete and clean garments at the City Library in Lund, and then pick up the same number of "new" garments between 13-15 pm. The clothes that may not find a new owner will be given to one of Lund's non-profit second-hand shops.
