The new single "Änglarna" is out now and Jonas Lundqvist's upcoming album "Sorgetornets spejare" will be released on September 6 and contains the P3 favorites "Järtecken" and "En liten pojke" but also an intention to make oneself visible during a period marked by loss.
- Both as a person and an artist, I have gone so much on impulse. Which can be fun as long as things go in one's direction, but turns out to be less good when you face sadness or other setbacks, says Jonas.
Even more so than its predecessors, the new album is compressed, a tightly clenched fist of settlement and concentration. Here are the singles "Järtecken" (which Jonas performed at Bergfeldt's) and "En liten pojke". - I increasingly notice that there are very few people from my generation who still think music is something important, he says. There were a few years in your youth that you were part of something. So if you're going to continue with it at all, you need to justify it by doing stuff that's true and damn good.
