Johan Airijoki & Ellen Sundberg

ELLEN SUNDBERG (ON STAGE: 20.00 p.m.)
Ellen Sundberg was born in the small Jämtland village of Bjärme in 1992. Since her debut in 2013, she has released four English-language albums, two of which were recorded in the USA. She got her big breakthrough with the Kjell Höglund interpretations on the critically acclaimed album "Du sålde min biljett" where she showed a rare ability to portray text. A talent that was taken further on the album Ett Bloss För Bodil Malmsten where Ellen set the popular poet Malmsten's poems to music. The album also became a very successful tour with a performance of the same name.

Ellen Sundberg has also participated in the Dan Andersson performance "Hon vars hjärta var som mitt", based on Göran Greider's book, which played to sold-out houses in 2022. In autumn 2023, Ellen's seventh album "Vita gäss" was released. Her first with her own material in Swedish.

JOHAN AIRIJOKI (ON STAGE: 21.30pm)
There has always been music that quickly rockets up the charts and just as quickly falls down. More so than ever in a world where listening is increasingly linked to a funny clip in social media. Nothing wrong with that, necessarily. For a contemporary world that spins ever faster, it is only logical that the culture that reflects it also becomes fleetingly immediate.

But then there is also Gällivaresonen Johan Airijoki and his songs. Since his debut with Vissa things must be burned in 2015, he has methodically built a loyal following that is steadily growing. People who took his songs to heart. Who slowly spread the word about the inherent power and beauty in songs like "Everything will be fine", "Tomtebloss" and "Listen to Bruce".

Together with the band Malmfältens Rockklubb, Johan Airijoki has created a reputation as an extraordinary live act. Swinging, suggestive, dynamic. Gig by gig, the audience has grown. Johan Airijoki has long been something of a hidden treasure, cherished by the audience who discovered his songwriting themselves. From being a favorite in the northern parts of the country, he has grown to sell out large rock clubs in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

In autumn 2022, Johan was part of the performance "She whose heart was like mine", based on Göran Greider's book of the same name. It was played all over the country in sold-out concert halls. Something that further spread his name to a wider audience. After a series of albums recorded together with Malmfältens Rockklubb, it is time for Johan Airijoki to release a solo album, Gitarrer og Blåjeans, which was released on January 27, 2023. Since then, he has, among other things, toured around Sweden.
