Night Shift consists of six musicians with different backgrounds from Lunnevads Folk High School's jazz department. The band cherishes post-bebop jazz – an era marked by exploration and diversity. Classic works from the hardbop tradition and lesser-known gems from legends such as Oliver Nelson, Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter are explored. Own arrangements and also newly composed pieces give new life to an inspiring standard repertoire. Free admission and it is first come, first served!
