Malmö saxophonist Hannes Bennich broke through internationally this year when he was signed by British Whirlwind Records. By then he was already an established voice on the Swedish-Danish scene with his unique sound and technical freedom. On bass and drums we find Hilda Nordkvist and Tuva Järvheden Bergenheim - two hard-swinging musicians who belong to the latest wave of young rising stars in the jazz sky.
