The jazz brunch at Mejeriet is back!
An institution in Lund's music scene since 1990 is back – Mejeriet's Jazz Brunch. An always welcome break from weekend shopping or strolling in the park for all music-interested Lund residents – and an obvious reason to take the train in from Malmö for the magical combination of brunch and blue tones inspired by the original in New York in the 90s.
With both local and international jazz musicians on the program, the Jazz Brunch at Mejeriet had a high status as a stage in the jazz world for decades, then under the direction of the Music Association's Plektrums, and is an event we at Mejeriet have always been very proud of.
The program is booked just like then by Pål Eriksson and premieres on September 27 with Esben Just All Stars + Ola Åkerman. On October 25, Orchestra Six takes over the stage with the well-known drummer, producer and composer Lasse Beijbom. We end with a perfect escape from Christmas shopping and invite you to Miriam Mandipira's Christmas Special on December 6.
In Mejeriet's Bar & Restaurant we serve a brunch with American touches, such as bagels from Chef Mama, American pancakes and bacon and eggs. (See menu via the Menu button).

Miriam Mandipira
The fantastic blues, soul and jazz singer visits us with a veritable supergroup from across the strait. Miriam is considered unique in this part of the world and could very well have made a global career. But we are happy that she is staying in Copenhagen! Her voice carries as far as you can, but perhaps most of all straight into your heart. It is warmth and character, a stage personality that leaves no one untouched. This concert contains stories about life and love, in a warm fabric of Christmas spirit!
