The acclaimed American folk rock visionary Israel Nash returns to Sweden in the spring of 2026. With new projects under his belt and unprecedented creative momentum, he will visit Mejeriet in Lund on May 19 to treat the audience to his characteristic blend of storytelling, soundscapes and cosmic rock.

Israel Nash has been described as a “master of sonic textures” and a “visionary in folk rock”. With his way of weaving together narrative and psychedelic soundscapes, he has been compared to Neil Young, Pink Floyd and the great American songwriters – while at the same time forging an identity entirely his own. He achieved his international breakthrough through a series of critically acclaimed albums that earned him a devoted audience across Europe. With the album “Ozarker” (2023), he reached another creative peak – a personal and deeply rooted collection of songs inspired by his roots and family history.
Now, Nash is entering his most ambitious phase yet. During the same period, he will release three major music projects: “Moods,” his new studio album; “Sweetheart of the Rodeo,” a full-scale interpretation of The Byrds classic; and “Rain Plans: Deluxe Edition,” a remastered tribute to his breakthrough album, complete with rare and previously unreleased material. At the same time, he will unveil a new multimedia concept.
“The Israel Nash Transmission” – both a podcast and a TV series – expands his artistic universe and makes room for longer stories. The series, filmed on his ranch in Texas, invites listeners and viewers to close and meaningful conversations with influential figures in music, art and culture. It explores creativity, the importance of place, mythmaking and what it means to create something that really matters in a noisy contemporary world.
Together, the new projects showcase an artist in full bloom – firmly grounded yet cosmically exploratory, with a unique ability to blend tradition with innovation. Through both his albums and his new Transmission series, Israel Nash continues to create a world where sound, storytelling and spirituality meet.
