Isak Danielson's captivating and mature voice reveals an old soul in a young man's body and a talent that extends far beyond his actual age. His voice, both strong and vulnerable, has been compared to both Anthony & The Johnsons, James Blake and Hozier.
Isak Danielson has released four albums – 'Yours' (2018), 'Remember To Remember Me' (2020), 'Tomorrow Never Came' (2021) and most recently 'King Of A Tragedy' (2022). His catalog has been streamed over 400 million on Spotify alone.
His songs have been featured in several major international TV productions over the years. Just recently "Better Days" from the latest album "King Of A Tragedy" was heard in an episode of "Magnum PI".
Professional dancers have choreographed to his music in dance shows all over the world, including the American "So You Think You Can Dance" and the Canadian dance show "Revolution". His song "Ending" served as a dramatic backdrop during the nearly five-minute long emotional finale of Marvel's "Cloak & Dagger" TV series (which also earned him a top 10 spot on Billboard's "Hollywood Reporter Top TV Songs Chart"), and we both heard and saw him in season two of the acclaimed Swedish TV series "Thin Blue Line".
Recently Isak did a duet with Alba August – a cover of Frank Ocean's “White Ferrari” – in an episode of Isak's YouTube series Sunday Sessions. In the autumn, we will get completely newly written music in the form of a first single release from an upcoming album, which will take Isak on a tour in Europe starting in Helsinki.
Isak Danielson has received a Swedish platinum award for his big hit "Broken". He has also been awarded gold records for three more songs: 'I'll Be Waiting', 'Always' and 'I Am Falling In Love'. Despite all the success, it still feels like we've only seen the beginning of a flourishing career for Isak Danielson.
"Because the truth is crystal clear: no Swedish man sings as well as Isak Danielson." (Lasse Anrell).
