Welcome to the inauguration of See Your Art – Children and Youth Art Gallery!
Imagine an art gallery where children and young people can create, experiment and exhibit their art – on their own terms. Now it's becoming a reality in the old district court in Lund!
In addition, you will be able to take part in the photo exhibition “See My Lund”, where children and young people from the municipality have photographed their local environments using disposable cameras.
The cultural association MedVind is opening, with support from the Arvsfonden, ABF Mittskåne, Lund Municipality and Skanska, Sweden's first art gallery for children and young people. In the old district court, we are filling 530 square meters with art, workshops and collaborations that elevate young people's voices and perspectives. See Your Art is a co-created art gallery. Over the course of three years, the operation will be developed through an open and inclusive process, where young people, together with artists and local actors, will shape the art gallery of the future.
