Rap comedy about getting a guzz and driver's license
When Idris, 25, gets kicked out of his sister's apartment, he has to quickly find a job and a place to live. He gets a warehouse job by copying her resume and a lie about having a driver's license. Now he has to redeem his driver's license in two months.
The driving instructor Esra is fat and has the worst sports car. But she is strict, unreliable and has a chaotic life. Practice driving with Esra, Idris realizes, also means keeping track of her cocky little brother and helping her deliver mail in the town's stairwells.
The story is funny, clever, fast-paced and delivered with language that is raw, rapt as well as authentic.
In the role of Idris we see Sharmarke Elmi and as Esra we see Yasmine Seifi. The play is newly written by Seluah Alsaati and directed by Nora Nilsson.
