"I Juletid" delivers Christmas spirit for another year - Guest Artist of the Year is Sonja Aldén
Sweden's most extensive Christmas tour that has spread Christmas spirit, community and musical joy for over 20 years is back this year. Delivering a concert experience with a true Christmas feeling to our loyal and fantastic audience makes us both happy and incredibly proud.
This year, we will meet the audience once again with our guest artist, the beloved Sonja Aldén. Having one of Sweden's most beloved artists with us, with her radiant charisma and voice, feels like a guarantee of achieving a true Christmas feeling that goes straight to the hearts of the Swedish people.
Sonja Aldén is one of Sweden's most beloved singers. Her big breakthrough came in Melodifestivalen 2007, where she made it all the way to the final with the huge hit "För att du finns".
The song broke several records and was named "Song of the Year" on Svensktoppen, where it held the number one spot for over six months.
After the success in Melodifestivalen, the debut album “Till Dig” was released, which sold gold and was rewarded with several Grammy nominations and gave Sonja a Rock Björn in the prestigious category “Female Artist of the Year”.
Since then, she has released five more albums and tours extensively throughout Sweden.
We are so happy to welcome Sonja to "I Juletid" and look forward to creating a memorable evening in churches, theaters and concert halls.
