How do we behave in public environments?

Welcome to the lecture with free admission from 17.45:XNUMX PM! The Nordenstedt seminar is a lecture series funded by Nordenstedt Foundation.

This evening's talk examines how we act in public environments, focusing on questions about who takes up the most space and how consideration manifests itself in everyday life. By contrasting historical examples with today's urban life, it analyzes how social interaction and the use of public spaces have developed over time.

Peter K. Andersson, Ph.D. in history, works at Kulturen in Lund. He is an urban historian with a special focus on everyday life and social interaction, and defended his thesis in 2012 with a thesis on street life in late Victorian London.

About the Nordenstedt seminar:
The Nordenstedt seminar is organized by Kulturen in Lund and is a series of independent and scientifically anchored lectures with a connection to Kulturen's activities and motto: the forms of human culture in ancient times and the future. The lecturers consist of doctoral staff/doctoral students at Kulturen as well as invited researchers and experts. Each lecture is 60 minutes long, including about 10-15 minutes of question time. The lectures are open to the public, free of charge and do not require registration. We are held in the Auditorium, Kulturen's large lecture hall, and there are usually 50–150 listeners. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start for the best chance of a seat.
