The hard rock band Huggorm from Luleå describes itself as “a glowing, bleeding dist-and-boogie explosion with its epicenter in Örnäsrondellen” – and in the spring of 2026 they will release their debut album. The full-length will be released on March 6, 2026, and will be followed immediately by a club tour with gigs all over the country. You can see them at Mejeriet on March 13!

The story of Huggorm began on a less than successful evening in 2017, when an otherwise disastrous party ended with Christoffer Wennberg and Joakim Brännvall sitting down and writing “Demons in the Skull”. The concept had been brewing for a long time. They wanted to see what would happen if they mashed all of them together.
influences and channeled Queen, Kiss and Johnny Thunders – big choruses, electrifying melodies, harmonizing guitars and lyrics about Life, Death and everything in between. It was of course razor-sharp, riff-driven, euphoric and life-affirming. As sure as a football to the head.

During the 2025 festival tour, Huggorm debuted at Sweden Rock with an acclaimed performance in a packed Pistonhead tent. The summer festival gigs were followed up with a single release in the form of the song "Ruiner", and sold-out club gigs.

On November 21st they released the single “Det ballar ur” and the accompanying music video, and by spring 2026 it is high time for Huggorms’ debut album and club tour that will follow immediately afterwards. See you at Mejeriet on March 13th!
