In this year's historical mission, we travel back in time to remember Lund's history!
There is total amnesia in Lund! No one remembers the city's thousand-year history anymore, and the only way to remedy this is to travel back in time to learn anew. Will we succeed in saving the memory of our history?
Under Historical Assignments, we are staging four time periods this year: the Middle Ages, 1676 (the year of the Battle of Lund), the 1840s and the 1930s. At each station, visitors learn something about the time they are in and then complete an assignment to help them remember what they have learned.
This year's assignments are carried out with the help of Kulturen's summer volunteers. The assignments take 30–60 minutes. The children can complete the assignments at a fast or slow pace, but must be completed no later than one hour after the start time.
Suitable for children from 6 years old, accompanied by an adult.
No pre-booking, included in the entrance fee. Meeting point at the back of the White House (entrance building). A sign indicates the meeting point.
Historical missions are part of the Year of Remembrance for the Battle of Lund.
