Heather Nova has been in the spotlight for over a quarter of a century and has been found on album charts around the world, including with her acclaimed album "Oyster" from 1994.
In October, the iconic artist from Bermuda will release his 14th studio album, "The Orchard" (via V2 Records), and will follow up the success with a European tour starting in January 2027 - and stopping at Stadshallen in Lund on March 7.
Over the past two decades, Nova has climbed from a life of relative obscurity to becoming a celebrated world star with a repertoire that few are blessed with. The road to get there is lined with many gems, something her devoted fan base is more than well aware of. When the nineties were in their first year and Nova finished her studies, she set her course for the UK and London.
After meeting promising producer Felix Tod, she wrote and recorded her critically acclaimed debut album “Glow Stars” which paved the way for the European scene. The year after her debut, the album “Oyster” was released, which was on album charts around the world, and it continued at that pace. The four albums that Nova released during the 90s held a special place in the hearts of many, and the single “London Rain (Nothings heals me like you do)” broke radio records. Further successes also awaited, such as the collaboration with Swedish Eskobar and the international smash hit “Someone new” (2002).
With “The Orchard,” she opens the door to a new chapter in her career. The album offers a strong emotional depth, infused with hope, light, and an unwavering faith in the future — exactly the uplifting musical experience we need right now!
In conjunction with the release of her third single, the driving and hypnotic anthem “In the Path of Hurricanes”, she now presents 31 exclusive gigs around Europe. As the genuine live artist that she is, Heather is passionate about the genuine, magical connection with her audience on stage. Take the chance to see her in Lund in March!
