Family show for 4-8 years old
Grandpa has a hat that he never takes off. Except when he goes to sleep. The first thing he does every morning is put it on. But one day the hat is suddenly gone. Grandpa gets mad as a nail and scolds his dog, then he sets off on a crazy adventure to look for the missing hat. On the journey he meets Höna, the tailor Västerknäpp and the salesman rabbit Kanini. But no one knows where Grandpa's hat has gone. On his crazy journey, Grandpa not only meets new acquaintances, but also memories from his childhood surface. And maybe there are more important things in this world than an old hat?
With Sven Nordqvist's Hattjakten, Teater Sagohuset wants to make a tender and short-sighted observation of memories, childhood and old age in a playful musical theater and dance adventure.
Lotta Lagerström's clever, empathetic direction and choreography meet here with raucous, clear and fun musical compositions in a spatial landscape populated by subtle figures and an old hat that is out in the open. The music and sound world are composed by Oscar Hielm in close collaboration with Ola Salo and Christopher Dominique.
