Sofia Dalén and Emma Knyckare present: "hahaha revue - An unusual, honest and musical comedy performance" with a tour premiere on January 24 next year. A revue that isn't afraid to dig straight into the piano to get the truest laughs. On February 27, the gang will come to Lund's Stadsteater!
- Emma has been my idol since I worked as a cooler one summer in 2011 and I heard her on the radio. 'What a tone of her own she has!' I thought. And this is my 'Call the Police' but with my unknown friends and instead of stand-up, it's a revue and we're not going to play in the Globe, says Sofia.
- And I never want to go on tour by myself again in my entire life, I'm far too fragile for that, so here I am now. In addition, I have chosen to see it as my life's task that the Swedish people should understand the difference between revue and buskis, continues Emma.
Sofia Dalén is the humor profile known from, among other things, "Musikhjälpen", "Bäst i test" and her own interview program "Paradrätten". Emma Knyckare is the female character who entertained Sweden for almost 20 years on television, radio and on stage and who is also heard in the wildly praised and loved podcast "Flashback Forever". Emma and Sofia love humor on stage, especially revues, and they have a common goal: to make a new type of revue.
Together with their three "useless" friends" - the screenwriter and director Robin Muhr (unknown from ÅkersbergaRevyn), the musician Filip Palmgren (has partnered Markoolio) and the actor Lukas Feurst (has played a magician on the rabbit stage at Liseberg several summers in a row) - they take the revue format to new heights.
The "hahaha revue" is an updated, sharper version of the traditional revue, packed with contemporary insights, personal opinions and inconvenient truths. The ensemble wants to show that revue is not an outdated format - but, on the contrary, a format that is perfect for today's TikTok generation with a short attention span. At the same time, a sharpness and resourcefulness is offered that appeals to millennials and perhaps even boomers.
"hahaha revue" will surprise, challenge and attract laughter with its unique and (sometimes) thoughtful humor. The duo and their three "useless friends" want to prepare the audience for an evening that may feel a little more in the stomach than they expect, but which will definitely offer relatively many laughs.
On January 24, it premieres at Jönköping Theater, then the tour visits 17 cities during the spring such as Falun, Stockholm, Karlstad and Malmö.
