A comedy by Lutz Hübner depicts a world filled with creative ideas, chaos, passion and perhaps pure madness.
Gretchen is based on a series of short scenes, where different directors and actors try to interpret the same scene, namely the "scene with the box" from Goethe's Faust.
What if the director is a tragicomic old man, who wants to compensate for everything possible and turn the text into a big roar? What if the actor is young and insecure? It will be very different and very funny. On stage is a trio with great comic timing.
In connection with the performance, an artistic discussion with an invited guest will be offered. Here we will hear about experiences of artistic processes and power plays during rehearsals.
