KALLE MORAEUS, LINDA VARG & DOUG SEEGERS
Kalle Moraeus, one of the greatest fiddlers and artists of our time, was born and has lived his whole life in Orsa in Dalarna, for the vast majority of people this is no news. What many do not know, however, is that Kalle has a great love and passion for the American music and country city of Nashville. He has returned there many times to experience the completely unique feeling and atmosphere that the city offers.
In Nashville, the idea was born, which has grown over time with Kalle, a concert where Swedish folk music and history meets American folk music, which mainly consists of country, bluegrass, gospel and blues.
After previous successes and the demand that exists, it is now clear that there will be a continuation until autumn 2023.. This time Kalle and Doug have invited Linda Varg along as one of the main artists!
The audience can expect a magical evening where many big hits from stars such as Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Alison Krauss, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams, Vince Gill, Johnny Cash, George Strait, BB King, and more will be interpreted and performed by Kalle, Linda and Doug, accompanied by some of Sweden's top musicians.
But the audience will also experience an exciting musical journey in "From Orsa to Nashville" from the forests of Dalarna across the Atlantic to the American South. It will be a journey that will offer the audience an entire evening and an inferno of the music that meant so much to today's pop and rock culture and is part of our cultural heritage.
Don't miss this unique meeting between Swedish and American folk music!
