Holocaust Remembrance Day

Every year we commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day with an event with free admission.

This year there will be a conversation with the author Conny Palmkvist, in collaboration with the Author Center South. You can also visit the exhibitions To survive – Voices from Ravensbrück and Resistors. Free entry to the event from 13.30:XNUMX p.m.

Today's program
At 2:00 PM, Museum Director Gustav Olsson welcomes everyone.
2:05 PM–2:45 PM Literary Traces and Voices, a conversation between the authors Conny Palmkvist and Karin Salmson. Based on Conny's The red carnations of the Straits and the Öresund Triology, they talk about what the Nazi threat did to people in Sweden and Denmark during the dramatic war years, and how we can remember and tell what happened today.

Curator Nina Davis and exhibition educator Annika Mandahl will be on site from 2:45 p.m. and can answer questions.

In the Auditorium, on the second floor of the White House (entrance building).

Free entry to the event from 13.30pm!

The program is arranged by the Writers' Center South and Kulturen in Lund, with support from the Swedish Academy and Region Skåne.
