Meet Marie Albertsson, who wrote the easy-to-read book Hitta hem, which is about Mårten. Mårten has lived with his mother, father and little sister Meja at the same address all his life. Mårten is now 25 years old and is moving away from home, to a group home. Märten is looking forward to the move. But already on the first evening in the new apartment, everything feels strange. Hitta hem is a book about leaving your safe place and finally landing in a new one, and about the strength of being able to call several places home. The book is nominated for the Studieförbundet Vuksenskolans Lättläst prize 2023.
Marie Albertsson is a writer and theater teacher at Värnamo Folkhögskola for people with intellectual disabilities.
