Lecture: About Tora Vega Holmström
Torsten Holmström shares his story about his close relative, the artist Tora Vega Holmström. Tora Vega was the daughter of folk educator Leonard Holmström, who founded the Hvilan Folk High School, now named after her. Born in 1880, Tora Vega was a pioneer in modernist art and challenged the gender roles of her time. She is described as a serious, bold and rebellious figure, who left her mark on the art world.
