Now you have the opportunity to see the documentary film Lakocinski's 9: Documenting the Unspeakable, which tells the story of the Ravensbrück archive and how it came to be. Film director Magnus Gertten and Jadwiga Kurowska, who has a personal connection to the archive, will discuss the archive after the film.
UNESCO has designated the Ravensbrück Archive as a World Heritage Site. The archive, which contains testimonies from Holocaust survivors, has thus been granted the status of a cultural heritage of great value to humanity. The University Library, which manages the archive, is marking the event by showing a documentary film about the archive.
The event is open to everyone. You do not need to pre-register, but it is first come, first served. No bags are allowed at Skissernas. Admission from 11.45. The event starts at 12.00.
