"Stand with Courage" – We can make a difference! Film screening and Q&A with the director

– 16 April 2026 at 13.00–14.30

Welcome to a screening of the documentary Stand with Courage, which follows sustainability leader Sandrine Dixson-Declève as she traces her grandfather's history of resistance during World War II and reflects on courage, climate action, and standing up for one's opinions today - followed by a live Q&A with director Carl Eneroth.

What do sustainability and political resistance have in common? It takes courage to stand up for your values in the face of great adversity.

We warmly invite you to a special screening of the documentary Stand with Courage, by the committed filmmaker Carl Eneroth.

About the film

The documentary follows Sandrine Dixson-Declève, a leading thinker in the field of sustainable development, as she follows in the footsteps of her grandfather, who was part of the resistance movement in Belgium during World War II. Through her journey, Sandrine warns emphatically about the dangers of allowing dehumanization to take hold in our societies, where people are reduced to symbols rather than their humanity being recognized. At the same time, she reflects on how we can refocus our attention on the urgent challenges of our time, such as climate change – and how meaningful change often begins with the everyday act of taking a stand against injustice.

Sandrine drew strength from her grandfather's courage. Inspired by this, we invite you to reflect together after the screening on how our own grandparents – and their stories, values and experiences – can inspire courageous actions and progress today.

Trigger warning: the documentary deals with and shows images from the Holocaust. You are welcome to leave the event at any time and speak to the organizers if you feel uncomfortable.
