Facts and fiction about women's work in history

About women's work and livelihoods through the ages. The speaker, who is leading a major research project on spinning in the 1700th century, among other things, deals with the myth of "tradwives" - historically, women have always worked. This is a hyper-current topic, not least after the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences went to the economic historian Claudia Goldin in 2023, who is researching precisely this.
