A tribute to Lana Del Rey with Moto Boy

During the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026, MOTO BOY will tour with "A Tribute to Lana Del Rey".

Oskar Humlebo, better known as MOTO BOY, would like to believe that in his early career he inspired Elisabeth Grant to become his alter ego Lana Del Rey. Whether that is true remains to be seen, but it is clear that Lana Del Rey has strongly influenced Oskar Humlebo.

“Since Elisabeth Fraser, she is the artist and singer who has touched me the most, and I have followed her fantastic career since 'Video Games' had a few thousand views on Youtube”.

With this concert, MOTO BOY, together on stage with Pikko (Petra Fors), will pay tribute to Lana Del Rey's repertoire and artistry with their own interpretations of a selection of her songs. It will be a stripped-down and passionate homage to one of the most interesting artists of our time.

MOTO BOY released the album “Drown Out the Noise” last fall, which received fantastic reviews and a lot of attention. MOTO BOY has said that “it is without a doubt his best album” and that it is his last album under his artist name. The music is dreamy, beautiful and idiosyncratic, and MOTO BOY’s fragile falsetto vocals go straight to the heart. MOTO BOY, whose real name is Oskar Humlebo, is also the guitarist in The Cardigans. Whether this is really the last we hear from MOTO BOY remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that Oskar Humlebo is one of Sweden’s most unique, talented and hardest-working artists.

The list of what he has accomplished since his debut in 2007 is starting to get long. In addition to his own albums and thousands of international concerts, both solo and as a member of The Cardigans, MOTO BOY has played roles in opera performances, musicals and theater performances. He has also appeared as a guitarist in The Ark, has been the opening act for Whitney Houston, Smashing Pumpkins and Suede, among others. And was even the intermission act in the Melodifestivalen final.

In 2024, MOTO BOY returned with his long-awaited full-length album. Written and recorded during the special years 2020 – 2023. An album in his own production, released on his own label and with his own sound in sublime focus. The backbone of MOTO BOY's business has always been his own albums, the distinctive sound, the melodies and the unique voice, a mixture of sacred boys' choir music, synthpop and a guitar playing that is almost jazz-influenced. His first albums 'Moto Boy' (2008) and 'Lost in the call' (2010) have been described as “a whole boys' choir in a feather boa” (SVD) and “a great Swedish album” (DI Weekend). Last year, MOTO BOY paid tribute to Lana Del Rey at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm together with Jennie Abrahamsson and the Radio Symphony Orchestra. There were four sold-out concerts and resounding success.

In March 2026 you will see them at the City Hall in Lund.
