This year, Pexet presents the performance “A French Revolution: Nation out of Function”, together with the Pex film: “Polhem Banks – The Story of the Cup”.
This year's production offers an extraordinary and exclusive version of the bloody, delicious and grotesque French Revolution that took place in the 90s... the 1790s... While Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI gorge themselves on cakes, hunt with expensive weapons and rule the great power France without economic limits, the rest of the country's population lives in hunger and misery. Our beloved radar couple, the liberal philosophers Montesquieu and Voltaire, decide to take matters into their own hands, or rather put it in the hands of the citizens. In any case, our (not so) skilled peasants in Paris are planning an EXPLO- er... we mean REVOLUTION!!!
How in the world is this going to go in Paris? Visit the show at Lund City Theatre on May 15th, 16th and 17th to find out the REVOLUTIONARY answer to that very question… It will be an evening you won’t soon forget, filled with laughter, singing, dancing and dramatic scenes! Just try to keep your head up all the way to Act 4…
