Join us for a screening of Another world - art from Sankt Lars hospital. It is an exhibition that shows embroideries, drawings and sculptures filled with playful creativity as well as anxiety and pain, all works created by the patients. Being admitted to Sankt Lars meant being in another world, separated from the rest of society. Another world can also be discerned in the works of art. It is the world of fantasy and delusion. Many of the works have left the traditional visual world behind.
In Region Skåne's medical history collection there is a large number of artworks created by patients at Sankt Lars Hospital in Lund, in this exhibition we have made a selection. Guide is educator Emma Larsson.
Included in the entrance fee, no advance booking. Gathering at the back of the White House (entrance hall), where there is a sign indicating the gathering place.
