The story takes place in the early 2000s, when online dating has become widespread and singles Frank and Carol discover that romance is just a mouse click away. They are matched with each other via the site eLove.com and begin dating online. At home at their laptops, behind their aliases in the dating site's chat rooms, they dare to open up and share their innermost thoughts with each other. They talk about the shortcomings of their exes, talk about relationships and feelings and get closer and closer to each other.
Even though they have never met, both feel they have found their soulmate. Could this be what they have been hoping for? Could this be love with a capital L? Then they suddenly make an unexpected discovery...
