Håkan Fransson is a sociologist and drug preventionist. Håkan has worked with children and young people for almost 50 years, as a teacher, at a leisure park, at a youth care school and in civil society. For more than twenty years, he has been responsible for the drug prevention work in Öckerö municipality. Håkan's methods for local drug prevention work are used in many municipalities in Sweden. Now he is current with the book "How can I make sure my child doesn't start using drugs?" where he wants to give advice to parents to significantly reduce the risk of their children starting drugs. A central question is: How can I think as a parent and what can I concretely do to reduce the risk of my child starting to use drugs?
