Love-hate swirls. Bitterness stands like rods in the hill. Artillery captain Edgar and former actress Alice live in a frozen marriage, where sadness is great over the future that did not become. Poisonous lines fly between them. Their eternal bickering is a dance that they both enjoy and are destroyed by. Is it even worth celebrating the upcoming silver wedding anniversary?
Then a visit from America arrives and suddenly there is an opportunity to break up and move on to something new. Now a marital storm is brewing on the couple's isolated archipelago island. Should they cut the shackles or remain in their shared prison?
