After many years of music studies, for a few, the educational period can be crowned with teaching at diploma level, the highest in the artistic field. One of these students at the Malmö Academy of Music is the violist Dasha Auer who, at tonight's solo recital, will perform a program that showcases the viola's great expressive possibilities and breadth in works by, among others, George Enescu, Aram Khachaturian and Nino Rota. The evening's program is crowned by a monumental landmark in viola literature, namely Arthur Bliss's viola sonata.
The pianist is Max Lörstad, a university lecturer and teacher of study and interpretation at the music education program at the Malmö Academy of Music.
