Dina Ögon returns to Mejeriet after their sold-out hit gig in 2023 – now with a new album to be released on February 6th.
“Dålig Teve”, Dina Ögon’s first release in a year and a half, is a melancholic tearjerker. We are thrown into a story in average res, the moment when a solidified relationship falls apart. Anna Ahnlund's voice has never sounded so ambivalent before, and the lyrics have never been so wonderfully bittersweet.
If the lyrics capture a relationship in decay and regrowth, the music takes a different direction. The innocent playfulness that welled up in the soundscapes on both the debut and the follow-up “Oas” and “Orion” has been refined with layers of experience.
A new fourth album titled Human child is released on February 6, 2026 – and it is undoubtedly Dina Ögon's most impressive. If it were only decided by the amount of music, the matter would be clear; they are taking the plunge with more songs than ever and asking for more attention than they have previously done, and rightly so. The band has landed in a fuller, more self-evident sound.
The album release is followed by an extensive tour that will take the band around Sweden and also to Norway and Denmark during the spring – with a stop at Mejeriet on April 11.
