We meet the writer Agnes von Krusenstjerna, the artist Sigrid Hjertén and the poet Nelly Sachs and take them on a journey through their artistry, lives and illnesses. How were these women able to take power over their situation, against the world and institutions, and still maintain their creativity?
The performance is based on the historian of ideas and learning Karin Johanisson's August Prize-nominated book from 2015.
